California Congressional Members Support Full Funding for NASA

Sixteen members of the California Congressional delegation signed a letter (PDF), dated May 19, 2006, in support of full funding for NASA in fiscal year 2007.  The letter urged Chairman Frank Wolf and Ranking Member Alan Mollohan of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Science, State, Justice & Commerce to provide NASA with a funding level of $16.792 at a minimum.  The letter emphasized that "sustaining America's technological superiority in space and aeronautics will be key to the long-term interests of our nation". 

The 16 members of the California Congressional delegation who signed the letter are (in order of their signatures) Adam Schiff, Ken Calvert, Dana Rohrabacher, Gary Miller, Darrell Issa, Howard "Buck" McKeon, Ed Royce, David Dreier, George Radanovich, Brad Sherman, Ellen Tauscher, Lois Capps, Jim Costa, Doris Matsui, Joe Baca and Daniel Lungren.
