Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger issued the following statement today welcoming space shuttle Atlantis' STS-117 crew to California:
"Maria and I are honored to be the first to welcome home the space shuttle Atlantis' STS-117 crew," said Governor Schwarzenegger. "Each crew member should be commended for their commitment to science, research and space exploration. On behalf of all Californians, welcome home!"
Atlantis landed today at the Edwards Air Force Base in Edwards, CA.
