Bob Bisho is the Contract Manager for the California Space Authority, Inc. (CSA), a non-profit corporation founded to promote and advocate the continuing development and growth of California's Space Enterprise community.
Bob is a native Californian, born and raised in Sacramento, and a graduate of California State University, Sacramento. Bob began his professional career as a pharmaceutical buyer for Kaiser Hospitals Corporate Headquarters in Oakland, California. He later became a buyer for the University of California, Davis where he spent 12 years in varying progressive procurement and contracting roles. In 1989 he became the Director of Materials Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he was responsible for the Purchasing, Contracts, Equipment Management, Storehouse, Receiving, Fleet and Mail Services operations for the campus. After 12 years in that role he decided to leave the California Coast for the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. In Phoenix, Bob spent 3 years as the Deputy Finance Director, responsible for all procurement operations for the City of Phoenix, the 6th largest city in the U.S. Bob left the City to explore the private sector and was hired as a Product/Contracts Manager by Best Western International, Inc. the worlds largest hotel chain.
After 5 years and too many sunburns to count, Bob and his wife Laury decided to move back to the Central Coast of California where the weather was just a bit cooler! They have two children, both married and also live in California. |
