Ms. Burkhead is the Membership and Events Director for California Space Authority, Inc. (CSA), a non-profit corporation, the voice for California Space Development. She brings extensive experience in all aspects of public relations including marketing, sales, training, and customer service activities to CSA. 

Her duties include developing and implementing market research strategies, member services, sales and retention. Elizabeth is also responsible for coordinating CSA events including trade shows, conferences and round tables.

As a hands-on customer service orientated public relations professional with extensive experience, Ms. Burkhead enjoys a successful diversified background having represented both large and small corporations over the last several decades increasing revenues through account cultivation and product development.

In 1995, Elizabeth joined a start up company in the medical diagnostic testing industry. As Senior Technical Sales Representative, she was responsible for developing and implementing market strategies targeting new business while retaining and growing existing business. Responsibilities included training, facilitating corporate roundtables, seminars and continuing education courses and promoting and representing the company at trade shows. She was a consistent member of the President's Club, an elite group of the top 10 performers in the company.

Ms. Burkhead represented the number one contact lens manufacturer, as Account Representative responsible for promoting the product within a million-dollar territory and prospecting new clients through trade shows, customer support and communication. Ms. Burkhead was recognized as the number one representative with the highest percent of customer retention.

Ms. Burkhead was raised and educated in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area and relocated to California in 1990. A "people person", she believes that technology, competence and relationship building are key to the long-term success of the individual, the team, and the company.
