LeeAnne Haworth is the Manager, International Programs and Partnerships, and Executive Projects Administrator for the California Space Authority, a statewide non-profit dedicated to promoting and advocating for the continued development and growth of California's space enterprise.

LeeAnne has acquired extensive experience counseling clients to meet their international business objectives particularly in the Asia Pacific region.  As a regional manager at the Advocacy Center located within the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, DC, she assisted U.S. exporters pursuing international marketing opportunities. Her principle responsibilities included developing and implementing commercial trade advocacy strategies for U.S. companies seeking international contracts. In this capacity, she developed an appreciation for the competitiveness issues faced by U.S. industry in the global business arena.

Prior to joining the Commerce Department, LeeAnne worked as an international trade analyst for International Development Systems, a trade consulting firm specializing in textile and apparel imports, located in Washington, DC. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer as an environmental business advisor for the Jamaica National Park Trust Fund in Kingston, Jamaica.

LeeAnne received her M.A. in International Commerce and Policy and her B.A. in International Studies from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She is the recipient of the Export Services Appreciation Award presented by the Maryland Small Business Exporter's Association for her service in furthering the success of small and medium-sized exporters.  LeeAnne completed two term assignments as a Commercial Service officer at the U.S. Embassies in Hanoi, Vietnam and Jakarta, Indonesia, respectively.

In 2005, LeeAnne moved to California's Central Coast from Washington, DC with her husband, Kirk.
