Raymond Wells is Manager of Technology Commercialization and Business Development at the California Space Authority, Inc. (CSA), a non-profit corporation founded to promote and advocate the continuing development and growth of California's Space Enterprise community.

He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and began his career at Technicolor Consumer Division as Manager of quality control.  He transitioned to Polaroid’s Digital imaging Division as Team Leader of R&D.  After seven years he was offered a contract by a major medical company to service their clients.  He formed MDI, Inc. and ran it for three years, servicing over 1200 square miles.  After three years, he was offered a position and joined the Orange County Business Council, where he developed programs, services, investment opportunities and support organizations for high tech, high growth and emerging growth technology companies.  After six years, he joined the NASA Commercialization Center as Manager of Business Services, providing services, support and assistance for early stage and emerging growth companies, technology, defense and biotechnology companies, SBIR/STTR recipients, and military/government contractors. 

Ray holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, is past President of the Orange County Multi Media Association, past VP of Business Development of the Association of Internet Professionals, and currently sits on the board of the National Contract Management Association, and was Executive Producer of two pilot TV programs, The Venture Catalyst and Meet the VCs.
