Rep. Ken Calvert, Chairman of the House Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee, discussed NASA and its space exploration activities at a luncheon meeting, hosted by CSA, in Los Angeles on March 23.  More than 85 members of the space enterprise community were present to welcome the new subcommittee chairman.

Attendees included six members of the CSA Board of Directors: President Mark Crowley (Lockheed Martin), Gwynne Shotwell (Space Exploration Technologies), Steve Nordel (Raytheon), Cynthia Mullett (Aeroject), Mike Gallo (Kelly Space and Technology), and Cam Martin (NASA Dryden).  Two organizations sponsored tables at the luncheon – Northrop Grumman and Townsend Public Affairs.  

In addition to Rep. Calvert, presentations were made by Mark Crowley, Andrea Seastrand (Executive Director, CSA) and Janice Dunn (Director of Federal Government Relations, CSA).
