CSA has been engaged by Secretary Sunne Wright McPeak, Business, Transportation and Housing Agency, to assist in the development of an updated Scope of Work Plan for the Office of Military and Aerospace Support (OMAS) for the next two years (2007-2009), which will address the need for and ways that the State of California will work with leaders and stakeholders from the aerospace industry, U.S. Department of Defense, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and host communities to support and promote increasing investments in national defense and aerospace in Californial. CSA will be organizing and convening planning meetings with stakeholders and industry leaders to review the draft outine of the OMAS Scope of Work to obtain feedback and input. The Secretary has requested that the OMAS Scope of Work Plan be consistent with the California Space Enterprise Strategic Plan. Based on the results of the planning meetings, CSA will be recommending specific additional strategies and actions to be incorporated into the updated OMAS Scope of Work Plan.
