Receives Award from Lockheed Martin

Quality Managers for Lockheed Martin and the newly formed United Launch Alliance have presented AR Tech of Fontana, California, with their Total Quality Service (TQS) designation during their visit to AR Tech's factory and offices. Jerry Dickerson, Product Assurance Senior Manager, and Joe Ybarra, Quality Assurance Supplier Administrator, presented the award to AR Tech President, Carmen Weisbart, for meeting the UAL's criteria of 100% on time delivery and 100% quality of products and services provided over the past several years.
AR Tech is a manufacturer of engineered architectural, industrial and technical fabric products with sales projected to be $2.7 million for fiscal year 2007, and provides a diverse array of fabric products and services for aerospace companies, businesses and restaurants, the trucking industry and residences.
As a manufacturer of flight hardware and ground support products for both Lockheed Martin and ULA, this award allows AR Tech to conduct inspection of products to be used in the space launch vehicles without outside inspection by the Lockheed or ULA. In that AR Tech has been registered as meeting ISO 9001:2000 international quality standards, the results of following the policies and procedures in compliance with the ISO standards has resulted in the quality and on time delivery for which the award was given.
AR Tech's quality rating by it's other major aerospace company, Boeing, is Gold-Gold, which also identifies both quality and on time delivery at 100% during the preceding 12 month period.
