June 5, 2007 Sacramento, CA: The California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency (BTH), in association with the California Space Authority (CSA) has released a new video highlighting Californias spirit of innovation. The 12-minute video traces the development of business clusters throughout California; including the rise of the Aerospace Industry in LA, the development of wireless technology and biotech in San Diego and the emerging Clean Tech sector of northern California.
The theme of the video is how collaboration invokes innovation. Produced and directed by Kathy Cummings of First Media Solutions, in conjunction with Start Up TV Network and BA Productions, the video sends a message that entrepreneurial success happens when innovation is supported by government, education, and commercial enterprises.
Interviews include California Business, Transportation and Housing, Secretary Dale Bonner; California Labor & Workforce Development Agency (LWDA) Secretary, Victoria Bradshaw; University of California Tech Transfer Director, Bill Tucker; and Dr. Henry Samueli, one of the founders of Broadcom, a true California success story.
