Berlin, Germany-The California Space Authority (CSA), in partnership with the El Camino College Center for International Trade Development (Hawthorne, CA), the U.S. Commercial Service (Los Angeles, CA) and Hannover Fairs USA (Long Beach, CA), is promoting California space enterprise at the Berlin Air Show located at the Berlin Brandenberg International Airport (Schönefeld), May 27 - June 1, 2008.
"California is home to a vast array of world class aerospace assets including three NASA centers, 40 federal labs, and a network of universities, research institutions, non-profits and aerospace industry leaders as well as a highly-skilled and innovative workforce," stated Andrea Seastrand, executive director of the California Space Authority. "We are pleased to be in Berlin with our partners to highlight the competitiveness of California space enterprise to a global audience."
The Berlin Air Show, which is approaching its 100th anniversary, hosts over 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries and offers an assortment programs ranging from aviation to spaceflight and for audiences at all levels. May 28th is a dedicated "Space Day" showcasing national and international space developments and presentations by world leading space experts. The International Supplier Center, running from May 27-29th, will provide suppliers with unmatched proximity to major international primes.
