The California Space Authority (CSA) Annual Membership Meeting took a new turn in 2004 with the enhancement of the meeting to include a dinner and “SpotBeam” awards ceremony celebrating the diverse achievement of California’s broad, diverse space enterprise community. The California-focused space awards gala held December 2nd for CSA members and their guests recognized California’s wealth of intellectual capital, scientific resources, technical innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. This was the “first-ever” celebration of California’s synergistic national security, civil and commercial space enterprise community, highlighting the inter-related nature of California-based space research, technology, workforce and infrastructure asssets. |
