Palomar Observatory

The observatory is open year-round, except December 24 and 25. The walking tour and restrooms are open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while the 200-inch visitors' gallery (where you can see the Hale Telescope) is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is currently closed. There is a gift shop adjacent to the museum, open daily between July 1 and August 31, but only on weekends during the rest of the year.
